    Dear All,

I have waist length straight thin hair. Have never done any haircuts except trim. I am looking for making some change to my hairstyle. I am looking for some side swept fringes (confused for arched / short / long fringe) at front and for back want some haircut like U trim / waves / layers only for bottom hairs as it looks too straight boring. But need to maintain the same hair length as scared to loose length. Please suggest.

    Thanks.

@maitri you are at the right place to get the suggestions….
btw why don’t you want to cut the length…its just hair…it will grow back in no time…

btw for the bangs u should go for arched bangs…they suit almost every face type…
and for the back you can get ultra light layering done at the ends..in this way the length wil remain almost the same…and then blend the back layers with front short layers…it will suit best on you.

@tony liked the suggestion. how does ultra light layering looks. If you can help with the pic. Also are there any other options you aware of.

@maitri you have heard that is not true it only cutting 2-3inches from both side at back

in a deep u haircut length from the side gets chopped a little more….but the back length will remain almost the same…

yes there are many other options….like you can get a disconnected short layered haircut…in this the front and top part of the hair will be layered and made bouncy and full of volune…while the back hair will just get a simple straight/u/v trim.

in ultra layering the hair section are held in hand and only a few strands are been cut….so it give much volume and soft layers look….the length remains the same.

it is a good option if you are specific about the length

@tony what is the haircut name in pic you send. Also unable to see first pic. 2nd pic haircut (reply #7795) look awesome.

Also fringes – What length would look good for the fringes. Long or short one. How about doing permanent soft curls or waves in full length.

if you want to loose length then short fringes are good
otherwise long are better for all face shapes

For front fringes, I dont mind loosing the length.

@rushita Yeah thats a good option. Rushita would you have any ideas for back hair which can be a good substitute to trimming.

  • #7810

@maitri get deep u it will substitute a good triming
it will be easy to trim and look good if tied as braid or it is kept open

Yeah. Deep U is too simple.

for long hair simple is the best
if you want to keep hair open then trendy haircut will look good

@rushita undercut would be too bold.

    Any more suggestions please.

I can consider till mid back length.

Any experience on heavy vs wispy side swept fringes, which one looks good for eyebrow level length.

go for v cut ending at mid back length
and v cut should start from shoulders

    haircut in photo of reply#7798
is v cut and starting from shoulder
without thinking go for that haircut

@rushita I dont prefer V cut much. Considering U or long layers or ultra light layers where volume and length will be good.

in reply#7825 you are saying you can go till mid back
now in reply#7901 you are telling you want long layers

how long layers can be done in mid back hair length

  • #7909

    tony

@rushita let me gwt this clear…..it doesnt mean that for long layers waist/hip length hair is needed…

long laywrs can be creatwd in mid back length hair…

so @maitri you can go for long layers in mid back length
